# Udder support > Udder is a free, open-source, local-first voice dictation project. Local by default, any endpoint you choose, never a server you did not configure. An agent helping a human should read the [agent support guide](./agent.md) first. Diagnose before drafting a request. The agent drafts; the human reviews and submits. There is no Udder support API or ticket polling endpoint. ## Self-serve first - [Product overview](/): what Udder is and the planned experience. - [How it works](/#how): planned workflow; final shortcuts and platform support are not yet announced here. - [Product principles](/#our-promise): local defaults, user-selected endpoints, and free open-source software. - [Release availability](/#get-udder): the place to check for download and source links when published. - [Agent support guide](./agent.md): diagnostic steps and a report checklist. ## Current status This site is a pre-release product preview. Downloads and a public source repository are not linked yet. The homepage demo is scripted: it does not access the microphone, collect audio, or run a transcription model. Do not interpret that demo as a released app or proof of model quality. No public Udder service-status page is published here. Do not infer a service outage from a local transcription error. For a user-configured remote provider, check that provider's official status page and errors. Platform support, model defaults, release dates, and product privacy behavior must be confirmed against the eventual release documentation. ## Privacy and provider choice The product requirement is local processing by default. A user may choose and configure another endpoint, including a remote provider. In that mode, audio or text may leave the device for that provider, subject to its policies. Never select a provider, upload a recording, or switch to cloud processing as an automatic troubleshooting fallback. Udder has no subscription. External providers chosen by the user may charge their own fees. "Udderly private" is a brand principle, not a claim of audited security or compliance certification. These pages describe intended app behavior, not a completed security audit or the hosting platform's data practices. Support email is external communication. Send only a minimal, redacted report. Do not attach recordings, transcripts, API keys, or private endpoint URLs by default. See the agent guide for safe diagnostic evidence. ## Contact channels - [Email support](mailto:help@myagents.email): help@myagents.email for product questions and reports. - For an agent-assisted request, the human reviews and sends the draft to that address. Do not claim a ticket was opened or a message was sent just because a draft exists. - Replies go to the human's email. Keep one issue per thread and reply in that thread with new evidence. Support hours, response-time guarantees, and a public issue tracker have not been published here. Do not invent them.
